This awesome summer

Mid-summers day has gone, the nights are closing in and still the sun shines!  This summer weather wise has been fantastic – whenever I turn on the TV to watch cricket it seems to be raining or cloudy everywhere else but here in Mid-Wales the sun is king! The rivers are very low, full of sea-trout but also algae and blanket weed.  I’ve still managed a dozen fish up to 12lb so it’s not too bad!! Bookings wise things have been incredibly busy with June being the busiest month we’ve had in our 13 years here.  Morgan is now playing lots of golf – it will be interesting to see where his priorities lie when the rugby season re-starts.  He’s played in 3 competitions recently and won all of them – not bad for an 8 year old but I have the feeling his handicap will be coming down!
